Systech Instruments employs more technologies to analyse oxygen than
any other manufacturer. Each of these technologies have advantages and
disadvantages which determine how appropriate they are as solutions to
any requirement.
These technologies include:
- Zirconium Oxide (also referred to as "Zirconia", "solid-state" or
"ceramic")
- Electrochemical (also referred to as "fuel cell", "coulometric" or
"galvanic")
- Hersch Cell (also referred to as "coulometric" or "wet cell")
- Paramagnetic
- Thermal Conductivity (also referred to as "katherometry")
The technologies to analyse Carbon Monoxide/Dioxide and Water
vapour/Humidity/Dew point have also been extensively developed. The
"Moisture" technologies include
- Aluminium oxide
- Phosphorous pentoxide
- Pulsed Electrolytic Hygrometry
