A new service has been introduced for UK users of calibration gases. When you need to calibrate your modified atmosphere packaging analyser (for example Gaspace 2), you have to use atmospheric air (which is fine as long as your calibration gas mixture is close to the values found in air), an expensive pressurised metal cylinder that you rent from a large industrial gas company, or return the instrument to us for calibration. By using a calibration gas mixture kit, you no longer have to return the instrument to us, or rely on an air calibration, or pay through the nose for the rental of an expensive cylinder.
